    MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Multiple Sclerosis is a disease where inflammation attacks the nerve
sheaths, causing scarring, and disrupting nerve transmissions. It often
strikes young adults. There are many forms of MS. Symptoms of MS can
include fatigue, numbness, vision problems, bladder emptying problems,
mobility difficulties, cognitive changes, and dementia.

Living with Multiple Sclerosis can be challenging. The Groves has a
highly trained staff and RN’s on staff to help deal with the many
phases and fluctuations of MS. The RN’s on staff can recognize
problems and changes in the resident’s disease early in order to get
them the medical help they need. Having the Groves take care of their
physical needs, leaves them more time to enjoy life.
